Spring's Almost Here

by Logan Tudehope |  Monday, 31 August 2009 Spring's Almost Here

Traditionally spring is the most popular time to put rural (or any) property on the market. The mud's gone, the flowers are out, calving and lambing are tailing off, it's more comfortable outside, stock look fatter and happier and farmers are more open to the idea of agents and buyers crawling all over the farm.

I hear rumours of a great deal of rural real estate hitting the market in the coming weeks. There are growing indicators of the planet pulling out of recession but does it matter? Will the market respect the mantra 'as long as you buy and sell on the same market then it matters not what the state of the market is', or will many hold out for the anticipated 'better times'?
