Introduction to Natural Building
3 workshops to choose from: 6, 13, or 20 March 2010, Warkworth

Materials explored will include traditional mud brick and cob, earth floors, wattle and daub, earth and lime plastering, hemp, bamboo, and some novel light weight earthen materials.
Chose either:
1 day Saturday 6 March 2010 or
1 day Saturday 13 March 2010 or
1 day Saturday 20 March 2010
Discover the unique and creative potential natural building. Explore materials and techniques in an intensive, hands-on experience, using a variety of materials focusing on natural clay as a major resource.
There will be opportunities to make and use a variety of materials including dense and lightweight mud brick and cob, inclusion of natural fibres such as straw and hemp, and some work with bamboo. We will also touch on earth and lime plastering, earth floors, and discuss strawbales.
Numbers are limited to give good opportunities for participation and discussion
Fee: $120 per person GST incl. includes tutition from 9.30am – 4.30pm, morning and afternoon teas.

$50.00 is payable in advance to secure a place. The deposit is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled
