There is an increasing number of rare equine breeds available in NZ now which is fantastic. The Fjord, Halflinger, Friesian, Paso Fino and Gypsy Horses are a few that spring to mind. Does anyone have experience with these breeds in NZ? Are there any breeders of these new breeds out there?
I have got two purebred Friesians. Love them. Hoping to breed purebreds some day. The Friesians are great driving horses, but the modern typre are also excelling in dressage.
