What is the best Brand or type. I think I deserve one, the old T.V is about 15 years old. P.S. don't tell my Mrs.

I recommend any major Brand of LCD. Samsung and Sony Bravia is the best but Panasonic and others are close. The retailer are offering really cheap deals so get shopping. Note: LCD is best also because they dont have many parts inside them and this will make them easier to repair in future if ever needed. (Plasmas are full of componenets) Good Luck

  • Good feedback thanks

I still haven't made a selection, but the consensus seems to be in favour of LCD so thats what I have been looking at. There are a lot of deals at the moment but when you look at the total cost including intrest payments the better deals are mid range priced. I am just waiting till the next intrest and deferred deal comes out and BAM! that will be the sound of the old T.V getting hit with some high velocity steel pellets right through the guts, that way her indoors will have to resign herself to the new family member, LCD.

Hi xtactor..yeah LCD is the way to go a few weeks back our TV died.. after endless hours researching online and in different stores we bought a 32" Panasonic LCD LCD's also use less power, we bought ours from Harvey Norman as they were doing the best deals at the time,we also wanted free view installed so we didn't have to buy a seperate box.. maybe by now you have bought a TV as your post was earlier this year...hope you got a good deal....
